Virtual Creative Groups

How do they work?

These groups meet via Zoom. We encourage creative expression about personally meaningful topics combined with wellness education and group sharing. Each month, a new topic and a project will be posted here. 


Group participants can work through the project prompts and create a visual or written response using any materials available at home. Project responses can range anywhere from painting, drawing, collage, digital art, photography, mixed media, poetry, or spoken word. There is no wrong way! 


  1. Register for the group (see available events below). 
  2. Make your project BEFORE the group. 
  3. Bring your project to the zoom session for sharing. 


All registered participants will get a Zoom link sent to their email 1 hour before the session starts. (Please check spam if you are registered and do not see the link)

These groups are free and open to mature teens and adults. 

MAy 30, 2026 Virtual Group

This month we will continue our theme of creating change. Reflect on a change you are creating in your life (it can be big or small). Create a process map of your goal by writing out these steps:


  1. The Big Picture: What is the end result you would like to see?
  2. Identify Needs: What questions do you have? What information do you need? What do you need to put in place to prepare?
  3. Supports & Resources: Who will support you along the way? What resources do you have that will help you? What personality strengths in you will be an asset in this process?
  4. Build Motivation: How will you benefit from achieving this goal? How does this goal fit with a belief or value that is important to you?
  5. Shape Your Thoughts: What positive things can you tell yourself about this process? Write a statement of confidence in yourself.                        
  6. Break it down: Start to map out the steps of working towards this goal. What actions will it include? You may start with broad categories and then break each one into small steps.    
  7. Plan for Rough Spots: What could make this plan difficult for you? Identify any potential barriers both inside of you and outside of you. 


Creative Response Option: Create a response to these concepts like a map. Your map might include roadways or bridges or even look more like a web. There is no wrong way! Challenge yourself to envision how you see this process and where you see it going.
